The staff of Living Rivers Beach House is there to support clients to live free from alcohol, drugs and any other controlling habit. It is a safe environment, where they can live independently and be helped in many areas.

Each client is an individual with individual needs; therefore each will have a specific, planned programme with agreed aims and objectives, and will be subject to regular reviews with support workers.

As an essential condition of residence, clients must not take non-prescribed drugs or alcohol. Testing for drugs and alcohol will occur regularly.

Prior to being given a place in The Beach House clients will be interviewed, given further information about the programme, assessed and will have to agree to the terms of the license for admission to the project.

It is foreseen that an individual will be in The Beach House between six months and two years, depending on progress within the programme.

Clients do not have to be a Christian to be accepted into the House but do have to agree to attend all support sessions, many of which include Christian principles.

Clients will have an opportunity to attend meetings at Living Rivers Church where they can hear relevant, practical, inspiring and encouraging teaching on how to live a quality life. Admission Criteria

The minimum age is 18 years. Clients must be free of drugs/alcohol for an agreed period prior to admission.
