Standing strong in seasons of adversity part 4

Prosperity is more than money; it is having every area of your life impacted by God! You are the head and not the tail.

In Israel they are producing beautiful produce out of sand! They as the people of God, through the covenant made to Abraham, are blessed. Are your expectations raised for God to do great things in your life? The truth is, He can bring forth fruit even in the driest of times.

Proverbs 24:3 AMP, "Through skilful and godly Wisdom is a house (a life, a home, a family) built, and by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation],"

"Through skilful and godly wisdom is my house, my life, my home and my family built. Father I believe that I receive a sound and good foundation; I thank you that your Word is what I've built my life upon. Your promises are the final authority in my life and are what I hold onto through everything"

v4, "And by knowledge shall its chambers [of every area] be filled with all precious and pleasant riches."

By what? By knowledge shall your chambers be filled. Knowledge shall get you what you need. Knowledge shall bring to pass in your life everything that you desire.

V5, "A wise man is strong and is better than a strong man, and a man of knowledge increases and strengthens his power;"

Knowledge increases and strengthens you. Wisdom is better than muscle.

V6, "For by wise counsel you can wage your war, and in an abundance of counselors there is victory and safety."

It is important that we don't knock the fire out of others, but listen when they bring something forward. We can, through our likes, dislikes and upbringing dismiss the wisdom of God because what is being said may be different than how we would handle it, or how we have been taught.

We are prone at times to getting a few things wrong… because we make decisions based upon what we know, so if we don't know very much then we're possibly not going to make the right decisions very much. Spend time gathering knowledge so that you can succeed in life.

V7-9, "Wisdom is too high for a fool; he opens not his mouth in the gate [where the city's rulers sit in judgment]. He who plans to do evil will be called a mischief-maker. The plans of the foolish and the thought of foolishness are sin, and the scoffer is an abomination to men."
"I'm not a fool"

v10, "If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small."

"I will not faint in the day of adversity because I have a good foundation upon which I have built my life, family, home upon. I am blessed!"

The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just… through skilful wisdom, through the impartation of the Word of God; in your eye, in your ear, down into your heart, giving you a good foundation.

Deuteronomy 28:1 AMP, "IF YOU will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth."

"Father I thank you right now that I listen diligently to the voice of the Lord my God, I am watchful to do all that is commanded of me this day. The Lord my God sets me high above all the nations of the earth and all these blessings come upon me, my life, my home, my family and they overtake me because I heed the voice of the Lord!"

Whenever the curse looks like its operating in your life, you need to know that something somewhere is out of sync. Request from the Lord understanding so you can align your life that the curse cannot operate. Galatians 3:13 tells us that Christ has redeemed you from the curse. This is not a cliché or nice phrase, it is the truth. You need to know that yes, you are redeemed but at the same time there are consequences to your actions.

You are in covenant with God; this includes prospering in this life time! God is a God of abundance and overflow!

A bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you fail to make the turn!
Proverbs 4:14-15 AMP, "Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not go on it; turn from it and pass on."

It is very important that we know which road we are on. It is important to know the pathway that the Lord has put you on. Somehow, whether its through time, our expectation can diminish, we aren't as confident in the promised supply or as 'on fire' about the Word and life God has promised us, as we used to be. This is not God's fault, he is watching over his Word to perform it. It is in this place that the enemy can rob us of what we have gained! You have got to hold fast the belief, holdfast to the confessing, holdfast to the increasing in wisdom and knowledge so that you can advance and live the life at the place that God wills for you.

It is by the ways of the spirit that we are going to have a well furnished and well supplied life.

Proverbs 4:23 AMP, "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life."
"Father I bring my heart before you, and I thank you that I protect it. I ask you to help me guard my heart and guard my mouth. Out of my belly flows rivers of living water, in my heart are the forces of life and at the right time the right force comes out to do what you need done, to have what is needful to have and to be what is needful to be in Jesus Name"

You protect your heart by limiting the dirt that goes in your eyes and ears. Your company matters!

Do you really believe there is a good life for you? There is, and you can find out more about it by spending time in the Word, receiving instruction and gathering knowledge so that you can increase in wisdom and live the life God has for you.

Proverbs 4:18 AMP, "But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared]."

It's getting brighter!
